Women's Leadership Conference - FAQs
Yes! We encourage individuals across all gender identities to attend the conference. The conference is designed for a broad audience, including individuals who are sponsors, mentors, professional development directors, and organizational leaders who want to learn how to better support, retain and advance women. The program is also useful for individuals who want to learn more about gender dynamics in the workplace.
No. If in doubt, business casual is your best bet. We also recommend dressing in layers as temperatures can vary from room to room.
The closest parking options are located at the 19th or 21st Avenue ramps. Please note, the 19th and 21st Avenue Ramps are open to the general public and our conference cannot guarantee the availability of parking spaces. Additional information and alternative options for parking on the West Bank of the University of Minnesota is available at https://www.pts.umn.edu/park/facilities. We encourage you to arrive early and allow additional time for parking. Metered parking is also located throughout the University of Minnesota campus.
Continental breakfast (light assortment of pastries, bagels and morning beverage options) will be provided for all registered attendees. Lunchtime meals will correspond to your registered ticket level:
- Gold: Plated lunch served in Carlson Atrium
- Maroon: Plated lunch served in Mondale Commons (Humphrey School Building)
- Student: Boxed lunch served in 2-206
Appetizers and beverages will also be served and available to all registered attendees during the conference closing networking reception.
Registration fills very quickly for this conference and in advance of the conference date. All attendees are required to have a completed and confirmed registration to attend the conference and unfortunately we cannot accommodate on-site registration.
Gold Package: Check-in will be located near the main entrance of the Carlson School of Management (321 19th Ave S., Minneapolis, MN 55455 - circle roundabout off 19th Ave.). Check-in will open at 7:30 am and continental breakfast will be available from 8-8:30 am. Conference volunteers will be on-hand to help provide directions and answer any questions you may have.
Maroon Package: Check-in will be located in the Mondale Commons in the Humphrey School of Public Affairs (301 19th Ave S., Minneapolis, MN 55455 - circle roundabout off 19th Ave.). Check-in will open at 7:30 am and continental breakfast will be available from 8-8:30 am. Conference volunteers will be on-hand to help provide directions and answer any questions you may have.
We can provide a range of accessibility or accommodation arrangements such as lactation, prayer, mobility needs, etc. by request. Please email email@example.com at least one week prior to the conference with your request.

Sponsorship is a great way to showcase your organization and to support the continued development of your employees. This conference does not provide CEU or CPE credits. At this time, CPE hours continue to be granted only through the MBT program and CCPS certificate programs at the University of Minnesota. To request a certificate of attendance without the CPE hours listed, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
