Negotiation II: Negotiating a Job Offer
Session Track: Surge with Skills
This second negotiations session includes an interactive simulation to help participants practice their skills when navigating job offers, salary and promotion conversations, or any other workplace negotiation. Attendees will be paired up and try their hand at a hypothetical but oh-so-familiar situation. By experiencing a negotiation setting from each side of the table, participants will learn that our goals are not opposed—there is room to compete and cooperate within every negotiation. *Participants are encouraged but not required to attend Negotiations I to learn more about the context and challenges women face in negotiations.
