Workday Magazine began as Workday Minnesota, an award-winning website launched in 2000.

This shift reflects that we are expanding to cover labor in other states in the Midwest—a region facing intense exploitation and organizing drives that deserves far more in-depth reporting. But don’t worry, our dedication to covering the Minnesota labor movement isn’t going anywhere! Along with this change comes another one: We’re excited to welcome our new Workday team, Sarah Lazare, Editor, who has been a journalist for 10 years, and joins us from In These Times, where she was both an editor and a reporter; Isabela Escalona, Senior Associate Editor, B.A. in International Studies from Macalester College in St. Paul, and Amie Stager, Associate Editor, B.A. in journalism from the University of Minnesota Hubbard School for Journalism and Mass Communication. Read much more in Amie Stager's Up with the Workers. And Subscribe, too!
