Land O' Lakes President and CEO to Talk Branding at April 'Brand Matters' Event
Land O' Lakes President and CEO Chris Policinski will present "Going Beyond Butter" at Brand Matters on April 28 at 7:30 a.m. at the Carlson School. He will share the leading agriculture cooperative's brand story, and details about how the brand is building and strengthening its reputation while helping feed the world.
Land O’Lakes, Inc., is the second largest cooperative in the nation which does business in the United States and more than 50 countries, and has sales of more than $14 billion. Policinski joined Land O’Lakes in 1997 and was appointed president and CEO in 2005. Prior to joining Land O’Lakes, Chris held leadership positions with Kraft General Foods, Bristol-Myers Squib, and The Pillsbury Company.
Policinski served on the board of directors of several industry associations including the Grocery Manufacturers Association, National Council of Farmer Cooperatives, and the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition. He is also a trustee of the University of Minnesota Foundation, member of the Carlson School of Management Board of Overseers, and a member of the boards of Xcel Energy and Hormel Foods.
Policinski earned his MBA degree from New York University, and his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame.
