Jason Chan's Internet/HIV Research Earns 3 Awards
Assistant Professor Jason Chan’s dissertation, “Internet's Dirty Secret: Assessing the Impact of Online Intermediaries on HIV Transmission,” recently received three prestigious awards. The work earned him an AIS Best Information Systems Publications Award, which is given to the top five best information systems papers of 2014 as selected by ICIS Senior Scholars.
The dissertation also received the 2014 MISQ Best Paper Award and is the winner of the 2015 INFORMS Information Systems Society (ISS) Nunamaker-Chen Dissertation Award (NCDA). The dissertation appeared in the December 2014 issue of MIS Quarterly.
