CEMBA Students Help Second Harvest Heartland
Executive MBA class of 2014 and 2015 collect more than 1,300 food items.
The Carlson School Executive MBA program (CEMBA) class of 2014 and 2015 recently organized a food drive for Second Harvest Heartland Food Shelf. Their in-class donations of goods and cash donations to buy cases of food totaled 1,327 food items.
Coborn's generously offered a truck to pick up donations and deliver them to the food shelf. The truck came to the school on Friday, November 22, and the students helped load the donated items.
Second Harvest Heartland is the largest hunger relief organization in the Midwest and turns every $10 it collects into 37 healthy meals for a hungry child, senior, or working adult.
