Carlson 4 Community Wins Pillsbury United Communities' Service Award
The MBA student organization was honored for its MBA Charity Auction efforts.
Carlson 4 Community (C4C) was recently recognized with the Pillsbury United Communities' Outstanding Community Service Award for its 2012 MBA Charity Auction, an event that raised $35,000 to benefit the Brian Coyle Center, a Pillsbury United Communities location.
The Outstanding Community Service Award is presented to an organization that has provided special services to Pillsbury United Communities or the community at large.
The MBA Charity Auction is an annual C4C MBA student-led event with proceeds benefitting a local nonpropfit. The event for the Brian Coyle Center was held at TCF Bank Stadium in February 2012 and was attended by more than 350 students, faculty, staff, and friends of the Carlson MBA program. The total charitable funds raised were a C4C record.
Carlson 4 Community is a service group led by Carlson MBA students. C4C's mission is to promote volunteerism and community involvement both at the Carlson School of Management and within the community in which the school resides.
