Aaron Sojourner Receives Dunlop Scholar Award
Assistant Professor Aaron Sojourner has been named a recipient of the 2015 John T. Dunlop Scholar Award. This award, given by the Labor and Employment Relations Association (LERA), recognizes outstanding academic contributions to research by scholars new to the field within the past 10 years. Sojourner received the award at LERA’s annual meeting in Minneapolis on May 27.
Sojourner’s research analyzes the effects of labor unions and other labor market institutions on workers, business, and society, and also analyzes policies to promote efficient and equitable development of human capital in early childhood and K-12 education. Professor John Budd was the inaugural recipient of this award in 1998.
