Friday, July 23, 2010

According to a new report from Bloomberg Businessweek, Minneapolis is the sixth best city for new college grads.

The ranking featured the cities that, "despite the economic crisis, still have strong job opportunities, decent pay, and living costs that won't blow your budget."

In placing Minneapolis at No. 6, Bloomberg highlighted the area's low unemployment, called out large employers such as Target Corp. and General Mills, and noted the diverse industries present including electronics, milling, machinery and medical products.

Houston topped the list followed by Washington, D.C. and Austin, Texas.
