On June 24, a group of Chicago alumni met with Director of Alumni Relations Todd Gordon to begin initial planning of a formalized Chicago Regional Club of the Carlson School. Following on the success of the New York Regional Club, the Chicago leadership group will be using a similar committee model of organization.
"I am very excited how enthusiastically our Chicago alumni responded to my request to form a regional club leadership group. I expect that within the year we will be seeing a number of new events in the Chicago area," says Gordon.
New York and Chicago are not the only cities that the Alumni Relations office is targeting for regional clubs. "As we continue to build our regional club program, I look forward to connecting with alumni in a number of cities across the county," Gordon says. "In fact, I will be traveling to San Francisco in June for an event, and would love to connect with any alumni there who might be interested in getting involved."
