A recent study by Forbes magazine confirmed what the Carlson School of Management has known for years -the Twin Cities is one of the best places to launch a career in business.
In its June 17 issue, Forbes ranked Minneapolis-St. Paul as No. 3 on its fourth annual list of America's Best Cities for Young Professionals. The Twin Cities trailed only Houston and Washington, D.C., among U.S. metropolitan areas with more than 1 million people.
In evaluating Minneapolis-St. Paul, Forbes cited the area's low rate of unemployment, its robust business environment with a high number of large companies, and its cost of living that is below the national average.
