Institute Affiliates
Institute affiliates are members of the medical industry community interested in engaging with the Carlson School of Management’s Medical Industry Leadership Institute. By becoming an Institute affiliate, members gain ongoing access to the school’s faculty research, lifelong learning programs, students interested in the industry, and opportunities to network with industry leaders.
After reading about the many affiliate volunteer opportunities and rewards, you may complete and submit an application, and you will be contacted by the MILI office to coordinate your service. If you have additional ideas for a service not listed above, please contact us.
Becoming an Institute Affiliate
If you are interested in becoming an Institute affiliate, we ask that you agree to fulfill a commitment of service, which can be defined as any of the volunteer opportunities listed below. If you are currently involved as a volunteer at the Carlson School, it will count toward fulfilling the service requirement.
Volunteer opportunities include:
- Guest lecturing at a medical industry related course or event
- Sponsoring a MILI event
- Facilitating corporate sponsorship of MILI
- Supporting MILI through an individual gift
- Providing student internships
- Hosting site visits or recruiting events at your organization
- Mentoring a student
