Tuition
The Carlson Master of Accountancy (MAcc) is a 30 credit program that full-time students can complete in two semesters. For residents of Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Manitoba, full-time student tuition for the MAcc for two semesters is $17,480. Non-resident tuition for two semesters is $29,548.
Financial Aid
The Accounting department provides graduate assistantships, scholarships and an accounting tutor position for MAcc students. Graduate assistantships and the accounting tutor position are awarded on a competitive basis each fall semester. The assistantships and tutor position include a salary and tuition reduction.
A limited number of MAcc scholarships are awarded each fall semester. In addition, the Accounting department awards a number of $5,000 forgivable Parker Loans to eligible domestic MAcc students.
Information regarding application for financial aid is sent out in July to current and newly admitted MAcc students.
In addition to MAcc scholarships, teaching assistantships, and the tutor position, the University offers grants, scholarships, education benefits, and tuition waivers based on financial need and basic eligibility criteria. To apply for financial aid, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You may complete it anytime; the University will process the application after you have been admitted. The University of Minnesota FAFSA code is 003969.
