Madhu Viswanathan, a first year Ph.D. student in the marketing department, came to the Carlson School of Management after finishing his B.E. in mechanical engineering at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani, India and working in research and software engineering in Bangalore, India. Viswanathan plans to pursue research in marketing channels and new product design and innovation.
