Now is the time to take the program to a new level by helping us continue our long-term efforts towards recruiting talented students. No matter which fund you contribute to, your donation will go a long way in making this Enterprise even more successful than it already is. Make an online donation today!
Contributions can be made to either:
The CFE Fellowship Fund (#1177) was created in 2006 by CFE alumni to help the Carlson Funds Enterprise recruit high-caliber students who have a career goal of working in financial services by providing 2-3 partial scholarships to MBA students accepted into the Carlson School. The fellowships not only alleviate some of the debt incurred by students during school, but they also give select MBA students early admission into the Funds Enterprise program. By becoming involved in the program a semester earlier than non-fellow students, fellowship recipients get exposed to portfolio management earlier, have the opportunity to go on more corporate site visits, and are invited to attend exclusive partnership events. Early involvement of our fellowship students is equally beneficial for non-fellow students, as the fellows provide a smoother transition from one class to the next by educating incoming students about fund management, participant expectations, business roles and program rigor.
The Fellowship Fund is primarily funded through contributions made by alumni and local community members. With additional support, the CFE would like to extend fellowships to more students.
The Carlson Funds Enterprise Fund (#3352) was created in 2008 to support the ongoing efforts of the Carlson Funds Enterprise. Contributors of this fund allow the CFE the flexibility of using the funds where they are most needed, be it for travel, recruiting, scholarships, conferences, etc. The contributions made to this fund will also go towards building financial community partnerships and supporting teaching and research.
The Alliance Capital Partners Fund (#4890) was created in 1999 to provide operating support for the CFE program. Funds in this account are managed by the Carlson Funds Enterprise, with annual draws taken to cover CFE operating expenses.
