Karyn Dossinger is a doctoral student at the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management. Her research focuses on how individuals manage employment transitions, with specific areas of interest being job search, newcomer socialization, and career development. She is also interested in creativity and innovative behavior in organizations.
Prior to her doctoral studies, Karyn worked as a market research consultant at Resource Systems Group and as an organization effectiveness consultant at Watson Wyatt Worldwide (now Towers Watson). Karyn was also an Adjunct Instructor at Argosy University and taught undergraduate courses in industrial/organizational psychology and statistics.
