Wayne Mueller

Wayne MuellerWayne Mueller is a senior lecturer and director of the Institute for Research in Marketing at the Carlson School of Management whose mission is to foster innovative, rigorous research that improves the science and practice of marketing. Mueller has over 30 years experience in corporate marketing, sales, and management, primarily with the IBM Corporation from which he retired in 2002 as a business development executive and segment manager in IBM’s Retail and Finance Industries. Mueller received a BS in marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, his MBA from the University of St. Thomas, and while with IBM, was nominated to attend the Harvard Advanced Management Program. Mueller will complete his PhD at the University of Minnesota this year with a focus on Marketing and Executive Education.

Ashley F. Dziuk

Ashley F. DziukAshley F. Dziuk became the program coordinator of the Institute for Research in Marketing at the Carlson School of Management in February 2012. In this position, Dziuk draws on her nonprofit marketing and event planning background to work with academics, executives, and the national and international media to support and promote cutting-edge research. Prior to the Carlson School, she was the community programs coordinator at the Chippewa Valley Museum in Eau Claire and had been the marketing and special events coordinator at the Eau Claire Regional Arts Center. She has a bachelor's degree in journalism and women's studies from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
