Center for Human Resources and Labor Studies

In the 1930s and 40s, the Great Depression and devastation of World War II led to profound economic, social, and political changes. In 1945, the Industrial Relations Center was founded to study the influence these events had on employment behavior and to educate labor and management on collective bargaining agreements. Today, the name may have changed, but the Center for Human Resources and Labor Studies (CHRLS) remains an international leader in HRIR education and research.
