The University of Minnesota was home to a Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) from 2010-2014. As one of 33 centers across the United States whose shared mission was to increase economic competitiveness and capacity for international understanding throughout the country, the Minnesota CIBER served as a regional resource for businesses, educators, researchers, and students. Its initiatives focused on environmental sustainability, emerging markets, and less commonly-taught languages.

Between 2010 and 2014 CIBER’s work impacted over:

  • 450 students
  • 2200 business people
  • 320 businesses
  • 40 educational institutions
