The Carlson Carlson Global Institute partners with educational and corporate colleagues in Minnesota and around the world to offer dozens of excellent education abroad programs, two world class Global Executive MBA programs, annual customized global residencies, and other international activities.

Corporate and Organizational Partners

Partnerships with corporations and organizations are an important part of the success of the Carlson School’s international education efforts. By integrating experiential learning components, such as in-country visits with managers and working closely with peer business students abroad on Global Business Practicum projects, corporate professionals and business students share insights in distinct, practical ways on an array of international business topics.

Additionally, partner organizations benefit by working first-hand with students in project-based experiential learning courses, where the sponsors companies are presented actionable recommendations from the students specific to their international business issue.

There are four primary ways that organizations engage with the Carlson Global Institute:

  • Hosting groups of business students at domestic or international corporate locations
  • Sponsoring Global Business Practicum projects
  • Serving as guest lecturers for classes
  • Provide financial support for student scholarships, global learning initiatives and research
