Career Opportunities

The employment opportunities for data experts are abundant: national demand for data scientists is expected to exceed supply by up to 190,000 jobs by the year 2018. This immediate need for professionals versed in data analytics is fueled by the explosion of data generated online: from social networks and mobile devices, to real-time sensors and purchase transactions, the pace of this data generation is doubling every three years.

Data literacy is a prerequisite for tomorrow’s business leaders, as companies seek out analytical professionals who can understand, measure, and act on these stockpiles of data.
