Campuses:

Important CIHRCom Dates

Invitations

Initial email invitations to the participants were sent in Spring of 2015. Official invitation letters are being sent out the last week of August 2015 via email and by mail. To participate in the case competition, please learn more about registration at the Registration page. Registration will open on Monday, August 24, 2015. There will be a $100 nonrefundable registration fee to enter the competition.

Preliminary Round

The written round will run mid-September, and all teams will hear about their results within four weeks.

On Friday morning CST time, September 18, all registered teams will be contacted with regards to writing their reports. Teams may select a 24 hour window between September 19 and September 26 to work on the case. Once teams have selected their preferred times to work on the case, they will receive the case at their specified time and will have 24 hours to create a written report and submit it to cihrcom@umn.edu.

This will provide some flexibility for all schools to register while preserving the consistency across all teams (each team will only have access to the case for their chosen 24 hour time frame).

Please note, these dates are subject to change.

Final Round

The top 6 teams will advance to the final round of the CIHRCom competition that will happen on November 12-14, 2015 at the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The format of the final round is described in great detail under our Rules section. The host school will have their own team at the competition.
